Meet Vikki Young!
A Girl of ColorVikki Young has just published her second children's book, entitled A Girl of Color. The book is about a young girl who loves colors in all things. She expresses emotion through and entices us with her lively personality. Through her eyes we see the welcoming of diversity and inclusion. The beautiful illustrations are brightly colored and will delight young and old alike. A Girl of Color ends on a very bright and hopeful note.
Mrs. Young is an avid reader and writer and enjoys reading her book to classrooms. In addition to writing, she enjoys sketching, painting, baking, and is learning how to be a gardener.
