This is Jackie Fisher's first children's book with more to follow. Jackie also writes poetry and is based in the UK.
The Farmer and the Potato Men was originally written and illustrated by Jackie as part of a school project 39 years ago. She was inspired by her grandson after reading the original story to him and decided to publish the book for other children to enjoy.
Farmer Lay ate potatoes for breakfast, lunch, snack time and dinner. The events that take place over a few days, change the farmers mind about eating potatoes for ever.
