Teri Moreno McClelland studied Early Childhood Education and Children's Literature at St. Thomas University. After serving four years in the United States Navy, she began working with Pre-K and Kindergarten children and dreamed of writing her own picture book for young readers.
McClelland credits the years she spent working with young students, and her daughter Leah for inspiring her to write children's stories. She currently resides in Fort Lauderdale, FL.
